This is a good toy for 3+ year olds. The cards are difficult for younger children. It train is built ok, you get what you pay for. The train does not make noise unless there is a card activating it. The plastic is a bit cheap but for a three year old who might handle it roughly it doesn't bother me that much that it is a bit chipped. Or the paint work detail isn't great. The only thing that might worry me is that it might not hold up to being thrown around and it may break easily. My daughter is 16 months and thought she may be able to play with it but it's a bit redundant without the cards. In some of the cards they are American words rather than English for example egg plant rather than aubergine. Also there are fruits on there that we would never get here that even I hadn't heard of. So all in all it's ok great idea works well but not a 5 star toy. Needs a bit of upgrading to be 5 star.
