Product Review: Le Chateau Wine Decanter - 100% Hand Blown Lead-free Crystal Glass, Wine Carafe

I really liked the stilted contemporary design It is light weight, not too heavy to use even when filled with wine! I thought that the neck of the decanter was too wide which together with the asymmetrical design made it difficult to decant wine through a funnel and filter. As there is no "stopper" too much air gets into the decanter so need to drink it all in one sitting... which sometimes isn't a bad thing :) It is almost impossible to clean and dry due to its shape. Overall: It is an attractive decanter to display as a dinner party centre piece but difficulties with decanting wine and cleaning afterwards would result in limited use.
