This external burner came the day after ordering it via Amazon Prime in the usual small card board packaging. Inside that was a nice slim lined box with the burner, cables and instruction booklet. I have a MacBook Air which does not have a dvd drive, so this was fantastic, now I can burn all my cds on to my macBook and on to my iTunes. It is so light and slim lined, It is has two cables with it, but I just used one of them connected it to the usb slot and it automatically picked it up. I pressed the button to open the drive and inserted a cd. It started whizzing away and the icon appeared in the top right hand side of my screen. It automatically picked it up on iTunes and started copying it straight away. It isn't too noisy and I was really surprised at the speed of how quickly it burned all my cds on to my drive. I am so happy with the cd burner, it is absolutely fantastic, and something I have definitely been missing for a while now. It is so small and light weight that it can slip inside my macBook case and be taken with me anywhere. It is great quality and I would recommend to all!!
