Okay so my husband has a disc problem, and we have bought so many items to help him feel comfortable but nothing seems to work. This cushion is the best cushion for bad backs!! It is extremely supportive when put behind your back and also when sitting on it. My husband and I actually argue over who is going to use it as I find it as if I'm sitting on clouds!! It is a mesh covered cushion which has a strap on the back so it can be secured to a chair. It has a slightly curved shape which follows the natural curve of your back. I can't stress how comfortable this cushion actually is. It really does take the pressure off your discs and lower back. I would recommend spending the money and giving this cushion a go.
