What a cute little toy for little ones! This penguin came the day after ordering it via Amazon Prime in the usual cardboard box. Inside this box is another box which the penguin is protected in. It also comes with an instruction leaflet. The penguin needs 3 AA batteries before you can play with him. He is extremely cute and colourful, really really well made so will withstand being thrown around. He has two modes, one where he stays still and talks and sings the other mode he moves around whilst flapping his wings, moving his eyes and beaks. This is my daughters favourite mode. He has a sensor on his head so if he bumps into something he spins around and goes the other way. Also if you touch his head he will start moving again. He has a few buttons, a song button where he sings, a story button where he tells stories, a volume button and a heart button where he says certain phrases. My daughter who is 18 months hasn't stopped playing with him since taking him out of the box. This is a fantastic toy and when you stop playing with him he says he is going to sleep and stops making noise which is good as some toys stay on all the time. I would recommend this toy to others. It doesn't have any small parts so is suitable from around 6 months. It might just be a little heavy for small hands. Worth a buy and at a great price.
