These lights came the day after ordering them they come well packaged in a little cardboard box. Inside the box are the lanterns which are all folded down, plastic panels, solar lights, solar panel, ground stake and instruction leaflet. Okay so the lanterns are quite sturdy but on opening the leaflet I realised the instructions are not very comprehensive so had to figure out how to connect the lights to the lanterns. So firstly open up all the paper lanterns so they look like balls. Then insert the plastic panels into the bottom of the lanterns, they only go in one way. There are two pointy bits on the panels which insert into the holes in the lanterns I have tried to show them in my pictures. Once you have done this in every lantern straighten out the lights and push them into the plastic panel holes. There are little pockets in them that fit the lights perfectly. Some are a bit stiff so just push them in so they are completely secure attach the stake to the solar panel which is at the end of the lights. There is an on off switch and a mode switch. There are two modes one which makes the lights flash on and off and one that keeps the lights on all the time. You can tell whether the lights are on by completely covering the panel against your body. There should be a little charge in the lights for you to see whether they come on or not. The lights glow a warm white and they look lovely in the dark. I have attached a picture. These lights are lovely just a bit fiddly to put together but well worth it in the end.
