Bought this to play music over bluetooth in my car and it works superbly.

Setup is super easy (depends on the pairing device too), just hold the power button down a few seconds to enter pairing mode, pair with your device and your done.

Has two buttons on the side for controlling your music, a quick press skips tracks forward or back and holding for a second or so controls the input volume up or down so ideal for the car, if you can reach it! Have mine fixed to dashboard in car with velcro, if only they made a car mount (hint).

Sound quality is excellent and there is plenty of volume. As for battery life, it's fully charged in an hour or two, and I used for an hour a day for two weeks before recharging, but was still going strong!

Overall I'm very impressed everything looks quality and comes packaged with instruction booklet and leads in a nice box.

Haven't used as a transmitter, so can't comment on that, but would expect it to work just as well.
